$75 Million Funding Round: BRINC Drones announced a $75 million funding round led by Index Ventures, with participation from Motorola Solutions, Mike Volpi, and Figma CEO Dylan Field. This brings BRINC’s total funding to $157.2 million.
Strategic Partnership with Motorola Solutions: BRINC formed an alliance with Motorola Solutions to integrate its drones into Motorola’s public safety technologies, including 911 call management and dispatch systems. This partnership aims to enhance emergency response capabilities by enabling drones to deploy directly from 911 centers.
Use of Funds: The new capital will be used to scale production, expand the workforce, and advance R&D for next-generation drones. BRINC plans to meet growing demand from over 600 public safety agencies already using its products.
Geopolitical Challenges**: Despite being added to China’s “unreliable entity” list, BRINC remains focused on sourcing components domestically and from allied nations
