Every time people want to get rich quickly, they stop thinking independently and start seeking answers from others. Then conflicts erupt, and blame is shifted.

He made mistakes when he was young: in his early twenties, he invested $10,000 to $15,000 in gold mining stocks and lost most of it. “That was basically one of the dumbest decisions I ever made.”
Later, he started investing in tech stocks and succeeded during the dot-com bubble, thinking he was brilliant.
But his early investments in the public markets were terrible, and he lost money. “That’s normal.
You probably won’t make a lot of money early on, and you’re very likely to lose money. The question is how you recover, how you build a structure to mitigate the impact.”
