Core Argument: The real reason for small business failure is not a lack of ability, flawed strategy, or poor concept, but rather choosing to “give up” before achieving success.
Small business is essentially a “game where you can win as long as you don’t give up.”
Key Factor for Success: “Acceptance” (Continuous Internal Identification and Persuasiveness): Most people give up during the process because their internal “acceptance” (identification with the reasons and meaning of continuing to operate) gradually diminishes.
Without this internal identification, any strategy and effort will falter. Conversely, from my four successfully monetized businesses, the common thread is that they were able to continuously cultivate and solidify their “acceptance” while operating.
Method for Cultivating “Acceptance”: “Finding a Training Partner”: When a person is thinking, anxiety only inflates, preventing the cultivation of “acceptance.”
Therefore, the most important step is to find a “training partner” (coach, mentor, or trusted friend) with whom you can have “high-level conversations.”
Key questions in the conversation: This partner’s role is not to provide technical advice, but to help you clarify and continuously confirm the following core questions:
Why am I doing this now?
Is this service the right approach for my life goals?
How much money do I want to earn?
As long as you maintain a sense of ownership over your business, you can persevere and ultimately achieve monetization and success within the scope of a small business.
