
Beams, a UK-based startup, has successfully secured $9 million in Series A funding aimed at digitizing the home renovation market. This funding round was led by ETF Partners, with significant participation from existing investors including Giant Ventures, firstminute capital, and Borusan Ventures.
The primary goal of this funding is to enhance the home renovation process through innovative technology. Beams plans to utilize a proprietary pricing engine that analyzes data from over 6,000 past construction projects to provide accurate cost estimates and timelines for renovation projects. This technology aims to streamline the renovation process for both builders and clients, addressing common challenges in the industry such as unpredictability and inefficiency.
With this latest funding, Beams has raised a total of $13.3 million to date, which will be instrumental in further developing their platform and expanding their market reach. The startup’s approach is expected to modernize the home renovation sector, making it more accessible and efficient for homeowners and contractors alike.
